The Assyrian Church of the East Discussion Forum is a free service that aims to provide a medium for anyone that wishes to discuss Christian issues.
The rules have been put into place with the aim of creating a civilised discussion avenue and also to prevent abuse of these forums and it's members.
All users are expected to abide by these rules for all areas of the forum. Registered members failing to abide by the rules may be warned, banned, or even removed from the forum altogether.
Every time you post here, you are agreeing to these rules.
1. Posts containing any material which may be considered in the absolute discretion of the Forum Administrator are: personal attacks, harassment of any kind, abusive or vulgar language, sexually oriented material, threats, invasion of privacy, slander, racial or discriminatory comments, anything that is in violation of any law or civil right or considered to infringe upon the rights and/or privacy of any other person will not be tolerated.
Members involved in such activities will be warned/suspended at the absolute discretion of the Forum Administrator. The Administrator reserves the right to contact the Internet Service Provider of the user regarding such conduct.
2. You may only register ONE user ID. Multiple ID's are not allowed. If a member is found to have registered more than one account, their subsequent accounts will be deleted and they will be given an official warning.
3. As we are a Christian website, we place a high value on respect for other people which is why we are against members abusing each other or abusing this forum. Occasionally, there may be conflicts/disagreements that arise when members voice their opinion. Please respect each other as it is possible to disagree without causing conflict.
4. This is an evangelical forum designed to promote the Gospel of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, any political/controversial posts related to church/national issuses will be removed
5. WARNINGS AND SUSPENSIONS ARE NOT TO BE DISCUSSED ON THE FORUM. Such matters shall remain private between the Administrator and the user. Any questions or comments regarding warnings and suspensions will be conveyed through email and/or private messaging. Likewise, discussions regarding moderator actions are not permitted on the forum. If you have questions regarding a post or thread, please contact the Administrator or one of the moderators.
6. SPAMMING/FLOODING IS NOT PERMITTED. Spam is considered to be repetitive posting of the same text over and over or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. The Administrator and/or moderators reserve the right to delete such posts with or without prior notice.
7. POSTS ARE TO BE MADE IN THE RELEVANT FORUM. Members are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Members consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given an official warning.
8. ABUSE OF THE PRIVATE MESSAGING SYSTEM WILL RESULT IN A WARNING/SUSPENSION.
9. USE OF INAPPROPRIATE OR OFFENSIVE ACCOUNT NAMES WHEN REGISTERING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Such accounts will be deleted.
10. POSTINGS MADE BY THE MEMBERS ARE THE OPINIONS OF THE MEMBERS AND ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AUTHOR. THE ADMINISTRATOR ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTENT EXPRESSED AND/OR IMPLIED BY THE MEMBERS. THE ADMINISTRATOR AND MODERATORS SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR THE CONTENT POSTED BY INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS.
11. The administrators and moderators reserve the right to delete any thread/post which they believe is violating these terms and guidelines at any time with/without prior warning to the member.
