The Trinity ... One God ?

As far as I remember whenever we said the Trinity, that is: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ... Amen. We never said One God ... Lately, I have been seeing clergy writing the term One God after writing the Trinity ... Can someone explain this ?
