How Do You Read Your Bible?

Postby Robert Khnanisho » Sat Jan 30, 2010 9:30 pm

Do you have a certain time and/or place that you read your Bible? or perhaps you say a prayer before you read?

Reading the word of God would have to be one of the most important aspects of a Christians life. I was wondering if there is a certain way you do it and if so, hopefully you could share with us all that we may pick up some new ideas which we could incorporate into our Bible reading.

Personally I don't follow a Bible reading plan, when I read I just pick up the Bible and go to a random page and start reading, probably not the most effective way and perhaps one of the main reasons I'm asking this question to begin with.

God bless you all.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
